Our Solar System has one Sun and planets bound to it by gravity. Almost all Planets have circular obits that lies within almost flat disc. The planets are: 4 small inner planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars (terrestrial planets) - consist mostly out of rock 2 big planets: Jupiter and Saturn, mostly hydrogen and helium 2 outermost planets: Uranus and Neptune, ices of water, ammonia and methane
Planet Earth - the blue planet
Earth is the third "rock" from the Sun. Earth is the fifth largest Planet of our Solar system.
We also called it World, or the Blue Planet, or Terra (latine).
The Earth has athmosphere consisting mostly out of nitrogen and oxygen, so we can breathe. There is also al lt of water on the Planet, mostly in three big oceans.
North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Arctics.
Planet Mars - the red planet
Mars is the fourth planetin our Solar System between the Earth and Jupiter. We also called it the Red planet, because of its reddish color. He was named like Roman god of War, Mars.
